Did Neil Armstrong Really Land on the Moon?

For the last couple of weeks we have been studying 'Explorers'. Some students have been investigating Neil Armstrong and there has been a recurring question: "Did he really land on the moon, or did they fake the whole thing?"

What do you think, and why?

i really don't know whether he did land on the moon or not because:
there are tonnes of different sights saying that neil armstrong did land on the moon and tonnes of sights that say he didn't and i don't really know which to believe. but my opinion is that he did land on the moon, and that everyone believed that he did land on the moon for ages so we should keep it that way.

Did Neil Armstrong land on the moon?
To tell you the truth i think both.. i have been on 2 sites and they say the complete opposite 1 is saying Yes of course he landed on the moon and the other is saying No he didn't its all lies it was a ultimate camera trick.
A guy called David Milne and a guy called Ralph Rene both had the suspicion that it was fake so they buddied up and investigated. they say that yes it looks so real but it would take for ever to get the photo and videos like they did. also that it could just be the Ultimate trick.. they say hey if your brainy and wise you can pull of any trick and that making a photo like they have would be easy to do. And they think it was Fake..
A question that Ralph thought over and over in his mind was how can the flag be fluttering when there is no wind on the moon? he still didn't get the answer but thought that the obvious one is that its fake.

So i agree with them it was fake and unreal and just a simple camera trick.. now thats just my opinion of course everyone else has others but thats mine. it doesn't mean that its correct and hey for all i know it might not be but that is just what i think

Did Neil Armstrong land on the moon?
NO!!!!!!!
1st because there is only one light so the shadows would be in line and in the photo the shadow was like yours and mine!
2nd the flag was blowing in the wind and there is no wind on the moon so how was the flag moving?
i dont think Neil Armstrong landed on the moon!

I really don't know what to believe, but after looking at this sight:
1.www.braeuing.us/space/hoax.htm
I was convinced that it was fake.

The website says that it was a complete hoax. They say that Neil Armstrong did not land on the moon because it was fakely filmed, they say this because we didn't have that kind of technology in the 1960s to build such a camera to film Armstrong in space.
They say that the poor fottage of Armstrong landing was deliberate so that nobody could properly examine it and see that it was fake.
They also say that they couldn't take any photos on the moon because it they would melt in the 250 tempreatures.

I once thought that Neil Armstrong was a really cool guy that people should look up to-he was the first on the moon, just like Sir Edmund Hillary and his mate Tenzing Norgay were first to climb Mt. Everest, don't you think that that is a good reason to think of him as a real brave and good guy? I thought it was good enough and i was tricked like everyone else too. That's what i think anyway, he's a liar and a fraud and should never have been made famous. I think that they should look further into the investigation and find out soon, that Armstrong is a fake.

i think that Neils Armstrong didn't land on the moon because back then they didn't have the technology to go up tospace and film it. Also because how could the flag have been fluttering in the wind on the moon when there is no wind on the moon

that is why i don't think that neil armstrong landed on ther moon
i got my little bit of info on: http://www.progressiveu.org/145625-did-neil-armstrong-ever-step-onto-the-moon

I think neil armstrong didnt land on the moon because there is a bright light source lighting up his suit but he still has a shadow meaning thta there are multiple light sources on the moon and how did he video it without a camera on the moon

1) Twelve 12 American astronauts have walked on the moon.

Apollo 11: Neil Armstrong & Buzz Aldrin
Apollo 12: Pete Conrad & Alan Bean
Apollo 13: << failed to land on the moon >>
Apollo 14: Alan Shepard & Edgar (Ed) Mitchell
Apollo 15: David Scott & James Irwin
Apollo 16: John Young & Charles Duke
Apollo 17: Eugene (Gene) Cernan & Harrison Schmidt

What is the point of this discussion?????

Did they all lie?? Are they all staged...

Did you even know that the event has occurred 6 times. I think that you should investigate rather more deeply before just believing the next greatest conspiracy theory and adding to the rubbish on the internet!

I believe Neil Armstrong really did land on the moon, in fact there were 6 moon landings and one aborted mission. Why go to the trouble of six elaborate hoaxes, plus was the Apollo 13 explosion a hoax too? Once the first landing was made, beating Russia in the space race, there seems no reason to follow with 5 more if it was indeed a hoax. I believe it happened but then I also believe Hillary really did conquer Everest, Elvis really is dead, Princess Diana really did die in an accident and Mr. Johnson really is an excellent surfer! If only the sceptics who put so much time and energy into trying to disprove events of the past, could channel that energy into helping to find ways to combat global warming the world would be a healthier place.
